Pineapples!
My week has been yucky, lol. No matter how happy I try to be things come up BUT I forever keep a smile on my face hence the name "Smiley Confessions"! I'm the type of person that wouldn't argue with a bear but make him question his own abilities. I'm a firm believer that words cut deep. People will act like they don't care what your saying but by the time they go to bed and reevaluate their day your words WILL be thought upon. Anyway, back to my week. I passed all my finals BUT STILL got 2 freaking C's out of that "nice but crazy" lady class. Word to the wise: If you know you want to be a nurse, firefighter, doctor or WHATEVER; Do NOT settle for a major just to say I went to this college. Pursue something because you have a passion for it. Other wise you will end up just doing work and not being fully engaged and your grades will reflect it. That's kind of the reason for my two C's but then again a researcher and teacher are two different things, people should consider that before hiring people. Education should be valued much more than what it is in the south, mainly Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Its ridiculous how many teachers are hired because of sports, their age, or their research abilities. WE NEED HEART WRENCHING TEACHERS that care about each and every last student understanding the information not just being able to pass a test. Just because one student out of thirty makes an A a couple makes a C but the other 40 percent of the class FAILS the test is a problem and should be handled accordingly. When I was in elementary and middle school the older teachers LOVED to teach and make sure everyone understood. The tests mattered but us learning was the number one objective. Its sad that the lack of teachers is actually starting to flow over into college. (deep sigh) The one thing I learned over my sucky semester is: natural food are wayyy better for your body. You can boost your energy more than you would with a supplement if you actually ate more fresh fruits and vegetables. My favorite, PINEAPPLES!! That's about the only thing me and the "nice but crazy" teacher had in common.
